Dedicated to complete satisfaction and care, Dr. Zuhair H. Yaseen gives his best personal attention to each and every one of his patients, serving as a valued member of the multidisciplinary team of experts at Cancer Care Partners. As a board-certified gastroenterologist, Dr. Yaseen treats disorders of the digestive system and liver, including cancer, as well as heartburn and acid reflux disease. This experienced physician performs screenings for colon cancer, as well as stenting of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract for benign and malignant masses, diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy and esophagogastroduodenscopy (EGD), therapeutic and capsule endoscopy, esophageal and anorectal manometry, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and dilations of the GI tract.

Dr. Yaseen received his bachelor’s and medical degrees from Tishreen University in Latakia, Syria. He then completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Sparrow Hospital through Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich. Prior to joining The South Bend Clinic in 1998, Dr. Yaseen worked with Mayo Health System in LaCrosse, Wisc., one of the most recognized and esteemed healthcare providers in the country.
