Medical Oncologist

Whether working to rid the body of cancer or providing specialized care to allow the highest quality of life for critically-ill patients, Dr. Dean Kim Park strives to offer a continuum of supportive care from diagnosis through treatment. At Cancer Care Partners, this board-certified medical oncologist treats both oncology and hematology patients. As a result, he works closely with an entire team of doctors, surgeons and other oncologists to diagnose and treat cancers, such as breast, colon and lung, and lymphomas such as Hodgkin’s disease. In addition, he diagnoses and treats disorders of the blood, such as anemia, clotting and bleeding problems, and white blood cell problems, including leukemia and other disorders of the bone marrow.

Dr. Park received his Bachelor of Science from Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass., and his Doctor of Medicine from University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Va. Following graduation, he completed his residency in internal medicine at The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in Chicago, and then a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tenn.
