Savita P. Collins, MD
Otolaryngologist
Dr. Savita P. Collins is a board-certified otolaryngologist who diagnoses and treats ear, nose, throat and head and neck disorders, specializing in thyroid and parathyroid surgery, head and neck cancer and facial plastic/reconstructive surgery. In addition, she provides accurate diagnosis and management options for hearing disorders and snoring and sleep apnea, with a special interest in pediatric otolaryngology, as well as sinus, swallowing and voice disorders — many of which can occur following head and neck cancer and its treatments. Deeply committed to providing her patients with the most complete care possible, Dr. Savita works with a diverse team of doctors at Cancer Care Partners to develop individualized treatment plans using the most advanced cancerfighting tools available.
Dr. Collins received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, Wis. She then completed an internship in general surgery at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, followed by her residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wis. To further advance her expertise in otolaryngology, Dr. Collins completed a fellowship for post-doctoral research at the National Center for Voice and Speech in Iowa City, Iowa, and a teaching fellowship in otolaryngology for seven years at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Fla. She joined The South Bend Clinic in 2006.
